Just came back from 1 hour run with the new 2nd edition R0-80. It felt great on my feet; comfortable, light, easy on my knees and joints.

I could definitely feel the added pressure vs R0-70.  The bounce feel was stiffer with the R0-80 resulting in better control.

R0-70: smoother ride, the bounce factor is more wide spread and gentle. I can feel the "jelly like" squish as I take each step.

R0-80: bounce factor is more stiff and concentrated. I can definitely feel the road more vs R0-70.

I like both models as each has a different feel. If I had to compare them to cars, the R0-70 is a Lexus LS500 while the R0-80 is a Porsche 911 GTS.

FYI: I am a 46 yr old male and a work out junkie; 5'6 & 180 lbs. I run 1hr twice a week + 80 pull-ups with each run session and lift weights 90min 4 times a week.
